We received a very warm welcome and felt at home from the moment we arrived. In the spotless, cosy apartment we were greeted with a small, lovingly arranged bouquet of flowers on the table, chocolates on our pillows, a slice of home-made fruit cake in the fridge and a bottle of wine... we immediately got a sense that our hosts really cared about their guests. And so we experienced the warm hospitality of Tanya and Angelo and their lovely Border collie Shep (who got on very well with our own dog). We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa alla Cascata. It was hard for us to leave at the end of our holiday. We will definitely be returning to Casa alla Cascata! Thank you so much for two beautiful weeks!

One of the best experiences I have had with my father. The hosts are the best part: they give you VIP treatment; they care that you have a great time and enjoy your stay to the fullest. Every detail inside and outside the house is unique. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you could need in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and terrace. Ideal for couples. Within a short walk you have several supermarkets (8 minutes), the waterfall, the number 315 bus stop that takes you to both Locarno and a number of villages and waterfalls, each one more beautiful than the last. Restaurants where you can eat typical food such as seasonal game among other things. And if you like adventure, you can go for a hike up the mountain behind the house for an amazingly beautiful view and the occasional mini waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip. 100% recommended and the price-quality ratio is super good. Tanya, Angelo and their daughter made us feel at home. Of course I will return.
